f’real, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rich Products Corporation, designs, sells and markets authentic milkshakes, smoothies and other frozen beverage all made from real ingredients. f’real f’natics freshly blend our delicious products in our patented blender in almost 20,000 locations across the globe.  f’realies (aka employees) have one purpose – to create happiness in a cup for people everywhere by blending delicious flavors with magical moments!

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

Meet Your Job

In this role, you will be responsible for sustaining and increasing equipment sales within your existing customer base and distributors as well as driving new sales for small chain and independent convenience stores distributor accounts.  You will deliver profitable growth within your designated territory by generating and converting leads into customers. 

Primary Responsibilities

Strategy:

  • Provides insights on the specific fundamentals of our Independent customer base – understanding and communicating how these customers are different from other customer segments and how we can best ignite sales and support Indies
  • Recommends equipment (new and upgrade), products and solutions, including finance programs, to best address customer and distributor needs 

Customer relationships:

  • Develops relationships with distributors to maximize equipment sales and optimize the management of f’real’s customer base

Drive leads, conversions and equipment upgrades:

  • Collaborates on campaign strategies and calendars for communicating with prospects and our current customers, and measuring the impact and evolution of Pardot campaigns over time
  • Utilizes a variety of retailer discounts and incentives to drive profitable sales volume and tracks spending to ensure positive f’real ROIs
  • Evaluates and pursues opportunities for current customers to upgrade their f’real equipment
  • Attends trade shows to sell in the f’real program to new customers, and expand current customers locations

Team partnership:

  • Partners closely with the RSM to prioritize and strategize ways in which to optimize customer conversion
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
  • Works with RSMs and Foodservice Sales Managers to coordinate resources for securing and managing new prospects

 

Accountabilities and Performance Measures

  • Achieves assigned sales quota in designated territory 
  • Manages program discount budget to maximize lead conversion, while optimizing f’real’s profitability
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
  • Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame

 

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions

  • This position requires travel (approx. 25%) to customer base and market/distributor trade shows
  • A current, valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds occasionally (i.e. trade shows)
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree preferred
  • Minimum 1-3 years of sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment
  • PC and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Salesforce experience, or equivalent, strongly preferred

Takes a strategic approach to expanding freal’s customer and distributor base profitably achieving targeted product/category objectives and sales growth targets.  Negotiates, effectively exploring alternatives and positions to reach positive outcomes. Manages customer and distributor relationships by applying proven fundamentals such as establishing rapport, determining customer and distributor needs, guiding customers and distributors to solutions and ensuring understanding of actions and agreements.  Leverages company resources where appropriate.
  • Market Knowledge: Applies consumer, customer, distributor, market, industry and competitive knowledge to identify opportunities that maximize company’s competitive position. Utilizes metrics and scorecards effectively.
  • Product Knowledge: Understands and leverages the portfolio of products and product solutions within various categories to maximize sales and profit. 
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral skills. Clear, concise communication style.
  • Analytics & Systems Knowledge: Able to work fluidly in Microsoft Office and has familiarity with Salesforce or other similar CRM and automation tools that allow companies use utilize technology to better connect with customers, partners and potential customers.
