Purpose Statement

The K 12 Region Manager, East is responsible for leading and executing the K 12 strategic sales plan to drive profitable growth across the assigned geographic region.  This role is a remote opportunity located on the east coast and the candidate must live near a major airport.  
This role drives profitable growth, market share expansion, and customer retention by leading a high performing sales team of both direct account managers and brokers.  The position plays a critical role in aligning national priorities with regional execution and ensuring consistency across districts and customers.
This role reports to the Vice President, Foodservice Sales – Non Commercial & K 12 and may oversee District Managers, Key Account Managers, and broker partners within the region.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

•    Lead the execution of the K 12 segment strategic plan to achieve regional revenue, volume, and profitability goals
•    Manage, coach, and develop a direct sales team and broker partners to ensure strong performance and growth target execution
•    Partner with Culinary, Marketing, Supply Chain, Category Management, and Finance teams to support regional growth initiatives and overall strategic goals for the segment
•    Establish and monitor regional sales targets, pipelines, and forecasts using CRM and sales management tools
•    Lead major customer discussions, contract renewals where applicable, and multi district opportunities
•    Ensure consistent execution of national programs, pricing strategies, and new product launches at the regional level
•    Analyze regional performance trends and customer data to inform strategic decisions and help prioritize with team 
•    Champion change management initiatives and continuous improvement across the region
•    Represent the company at industry events, regional meetings, and key customer engagements
•    Participate as a member of the K-12 leadership team to help develop strategy, innovation, and go to market execution to meet short and long term goals. 
 

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred)
•    Minimum of 7 year’s experience in the foodservice industry, with significant exposure to K 12 customers and segment preferred
•    Minimum of 5 year’s experience leading direct sales teams and/or broker networks
•    Proven success in sales leadership, talent development, and performance management
•    Strong understanding of P&L management, pricing, and financial acumen
•    Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, change management, and cross functional collaboration
•    Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with diverse audiences and leadership levels
•    Proficiency with CRM and sales management systems (Salesforce or equivalent)
•    Highly organized, self disciplined, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
•    Build and foster trusted internal and external relationships
Travel Requirements
•    Up to 70% travel within the assigned U.S. region

 

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$122,800.00 - $184,200.00
