Purpose Statement
We are seeking an industrial craft mechanic with strong electrical control troubleshooting skills to join our dynamic team at Rich Products in Missouri City Texas. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with control circuits, temperature controllers, Allen Bradley PLCs, Power Flex drives, screw pumps, hydraulic systems, and centrifugal pumps. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our manufacturing equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of our plant.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all plant equipment, including mechanical and electrical control circuits, temperature controllers, Allen Bradley PLCs, Power Flex drives, screw pumps, hydraulic systems, centrifugal pumps, Industrial mixers, Ovens, Date code printers, Shrink wrap machines, Label machines, Depositors, Hopper Topper, Pallet Wrappers and product cutters.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.
Installation: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory using the SAP PM CMMS system.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance team members and production staff to address equipment issues and improve operational efficiency.
Training & Communication: Provide training to operators on making minor equipment adjustments and resolving small-scale issues, while also enhancing their communication skills with Trio members—comprising the Line Owner, Process Owner from Production, and Maintenance Owner from the Maintenance team.Also working closely with maintenance planner to make sure certain equipment issues which required planning to get it done.
Team Collaboration and ownernership: Team collaboration and working safely is required who can utilize the best of their knowledge and abilities to support maintenance activities and partnered with operation team to identify the road blocks and mitigate the risk by proactively inspecting the equipment and repaired them as planned work.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
