Purpose Statement

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment to communicate openly with or train other mechanics, line operators, regarding adjustments, repairs, or corrections performed on equipment. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities daily and provide input into improvements or additions to PM routines.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

  • Capability to troubleshoot up to a Motor and Drive Trane issues.
  • Ability to climb heights up to 75 ft.
  • Perform installs, PMs and corrective actions on Silos and different bulk systems
  • Installation, modification, and maintenance of equipment, according to engineering principles and safety regulations.
  • Dismantle equipment and perform repairs, replacing broken or defective parts and return equipment to base condition.
  • Maintenance of all bulk equipment.
  • Ability to be apart of the RPC Hazmat team.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or minimum one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Terms of Employment:

  • Candidate will be expected to read and use a multimeter 
  • The candidate is expected to work with other technicians to ensure maintenance coverage in times of absences, which may consist of some weekends. 
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of maintenance best practices, 6s, and Microsoft apps. 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
