Purpose Statement

We are seeking a highly skilled TPM Maintenance Owner to lead and drive Total Productive Maintenance initiatives across our operations. This role combines hands-on engineering expertise with strategic maintenance leadership to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering knowledge, a data-driven mindset, and proven experience implementing TPM methodologies in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

TPM Strategy & Implementation

· Lead and sustain TPM pillars, particularly Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, and Focused Improvement.

· Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce breakdowns and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).

· Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) using structured problem-solving methods (5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, etc.).

Engineering & Technical Leadership

· Provide hands-on troubleshooting support for complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

· Analyze equipment reliability data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.

· Lead equipment upgrades, modifications, and reliability improvement projects.

· Support new equipment installation, commissioning, and validation processes.

Maintenance Planning & Reliability

· Develop and optimize preventive maintenance schedules.

· Ensure spare parts strategy and critical inventory management are aligned with reliability goals.

· Implement predictive maintenance tools (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, etc.).

· Drive condition-based monitoring practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Partner with Operations, Sanitation, Quality, and Safety teams to ensure alignment.

· Train operators in Autonomous Maintenance standards.

· Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Performance & Reporting

· Monitor KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, OEE, and maintenance costs.

· Prepare reports and present reliability performance updates to leadership.

· Lead structured improvement workshops (Kaizen, SMED, etc.).

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering field preferred

· 3+ years of experience in maintenance or engineering within manufacturing/industrial environments.

· Proven experience implementing or leading TPM initiatives.

· Strong understanding of industrial systems prefered (PLC, automation, robotics, etc.).

· Experience with CMMS systems.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Demonstrated project management capability.

Preferred Qualifications

· TPM certification or Lean/Six Sigma certification.

· Experience with predictive maintenance technologies.

· Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).

· Experience in high-speed manufacturing environments.
