Purpose Statement

The Bakery Retail Associate is responsible for supporting the Bakery Retail Supervisor within the Nashville Yards bakery retail location. This involves working with the Bakery Retail Supervisor to grow sales for the location and meeting or exceeding the company expectations regarding retail operations performance and customer service. The Bakery Retail Associate not only develops customer and visitor relationships but also helps to maintain relationships to run a successful bakery retail operation.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

  • Interacts with customers, employees, visitors, & vendors to achieve and maintain positive relationships.  Obtains and considers information needed to resolve opportunities, achieve desired service levels and revenue targets.
  • Assists the Bakery Retail Supervisor to ensure accurate financial reporting for bakery retail operations of all revenue and expenses.  Collects and accounts for revenue generated for bakery retail operations.  
  • Works with team members to ensure that business sales commitments are achieved.  Communicates expectations and provides guidance/direction as needed; holds associates accountable for performance, taking the appropriate level of corrective action, when needed.
  • Responsible for understanding how to manage inventory, daily production planning for the production department, and how to order product for the Nashville Yards location, respective to assigned work location.
  • Completes reports and paperwork needed to communicate operational opportunities and successes. 
     

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Communicates effectively in writing, as well as verbally – both in person and via the telephone.
  • Operates computer equipment and completes reports and paperwork which may require manual dexterity and finite hand movements.
  • Utilizes reasoning and problem-solving skills to resolve customer service and operational Communicates effectively in person or by using telecommunications equipment.
  • Creates documents, reports, etc., using a writing instrument (such as a pencil or pen) or computer.
  • Moves, lifts, carries, and places merchandise and supplies weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Grasps, turns, and manipulates objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Will spend the majority of time on his or her feet and stand or walk without a break for up to 6 hours.
  • Typical motions include repetitive hand and arm movements, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout duration of shift.
  • Visually verifies information, often in small print.
  • Visually locates merchandise and other objects.

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Rich’s”), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$31,408.00 - $39,395.00
