PURPOSE STATEMENT

As a Route Sales Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the direct store delivery of quality products to our various accounts. This includes all aspects of store and customer service, products handling and transportation and communication.

This position is based out of Woodside NY and will be servicing Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn and Westchester and may cover parts of Long Island. This professional will work about 40 hours/ week M-F starting at 6am. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

  • Builds and maintains positive, productive relationships with operations personnel, bakers and owners, resolving product or service problems promptly and ensuring excellent customer relations.
  • Insure our customers are educated on proper rotation, temperature management and product quality.
  • Plan route in ways that minimize mileage and in transit time. Looking to minimize variable expense and fuel costs
  • Constantly look for ways to expand sales with new items, new programs and new customers.
  • Learn all products sold by Instantwhip New York and how we sell each of them.
  • Manages and accurately tracks inventory of product on delivery truck. Works with warehouse and office staff to resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensures safety by completing pre-trip safety and maintenance inspections, and maintaining truck as required, completing preventative maintenance and advise management of needed repairs.
  • Loads and unloads product from delivery truck, handling product carefully to ensure continued product quality.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

1+ year of Route Sales/Delivery experience
High School Diploma or GED
Clean drivers license and able to obtain a DOT Card
Possess solid general computer, math and analysis skills
Flexible and able to work with others as a team
Professional, courteous, reliable, and mature, with outstanding organizational and communication skills
Punctual and reliable in their work attendance
Self-motivated, able to take initiative and use sound judgment in day-to-day decision making
Extended standing and driving required
 

 

COMPENSATION

 

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$45,728.30 - $61,867.70
