Purpose Statement

The Parts Coordinator is responsible for maintaining stock levels in all maintenance storerooms and developing and maintaining vendor relationships. You will be the main contact point for all vendors including setting up service agreements.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

Generating, adjusting and maintaining Purchase orders and invoices.
Creating and maintaining vendor relationships with existing and new vendors.
Maintaining records and documents of all purchasing activities.
Conducting yearly and quarterly audits by cycle counting spare parts to ensure accuracy in quantities.
Collaborate with internal departments to better understand purchasing needs for each department.
Maintain a functional and organized parts storeroom.
Work with accounting team to analyze and reconcile any pricing/ invoicing discrepancies.
Call, email, meet with vendors for quotes for services/ parts needed.
Work closely with Maintenance Planner to ensure correct parts are ordered for work scheduled to be completed.
Collecting information on spare parts to be able to enter data into SAP to create a record flow.
Ensure delivery of parts ordered.
Track orders placed.
Overall Inventory management.
Performs other related responsibilities, as needed, to support Rich Products Corporation’s business objectives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

HS degree or GED; Degree or certification in Accounting or related field preferred.
3 years experience working in a high paced manufacturing environment
Demonstrated knowledge and application of an ERP(SAP/S4 HANA) system. Previous experience using Ariba Purchasing software
Demonstrated knowledge and application of SOX Compliance
Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must have the desire and ability to operate as a member of a Self-Directed work team.
Have an awareness of and the ability to follow Associate Safety guidelines.
Have an awareness of and the ability to follow FDA, GMP and Food Safety guidelines.
Must have the ability to work in and contribute to Production Improvement, Associate Involvement and Temporary Teams, as assigned.
Must be able to multi-task.
Excellent computer skills and experience in extracting and analyzing data using information systems reporting tools such as Excel. Efficient with all Microsoft Office products. Experience using QAD, SAP, and application of a ERP.
Must have good computer skills

The physical capabilities an associate must have to perform for this position are as follows:

Moderate degree of physical activity.
Continuous standing and frequent walking.
Frequent bending and reaching.
Frequent stair/ladder climbing.
May handle potentially hazardous equipment or material.
Requires lifting not to exceed 50 lbs.
