PURPOSE STATEMENT

Lead all departments to meet departmental goals.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
  1. Must be able to follow instructions, including standard manufacturing procedures and processes.
  2. Complies and instructs department associates to meet all Safety, GMP, Quality, Plant Policies and other Associate and food safety requirements.
  3. Ensures that all products are correct according to the SKU formula and integrity of appearance.
  4. Must be able to instruct associates to ensure production lines meet targets.
  5. Must be able to enter production into SAP system.
  6. Must be able to create work orders for equipment that is not functioning.
  7. Will be required to assume Operator or other department position responsibilities when associate is not available.
  8. Understand, communicate and advocate to Associates the 6S, MLO, PWI’s, Quality programs and other company programs, systems and projects (i.e. LPL, ROCS Project, etc..)
  9. Lead department while adhering to company’s leadership standards, including but not limited Engagement, Great Leadership Drivers, etc., 
  10. Must be able to communicate issues throughout the shift, i.e. associate issues, mechanical, safety, quality, etc.
  11. Must consistently meet all targets on Lead Tier Program – Tier 3.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  1. Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required:
    1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

 

  1. Skills Required:
    1. Must be able to Read, Write and Speak Basic English.
    2. Must be a team player.
    3. Must be able to work in a cold and hot environment.
    4. Must be able to work all shifts.
    5. Basic computer skills.
  2. 2-3 Years of Manufacturing Experience.
  3. Understanding of manufacturing equipment.
  4. Positive attitude.
  5. Self-starter.
  6. Able to work with minimal supervision.
  7. Considerable amount of standing, walking, use of hands.
