Purpose Statement
This position is responsible for the handling of metal pans as required before, during and after production based on product size and type.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
- Must use applicable PPE.
- Feeds and removes pans to and from the line as needed for each production run based on the product size and type, maintaining balance quantity and flow of the pans.
- Clean the pans as needed or as assigned.
- Performs product quality visual inspection and reports any findings to an immediate supervisor.
- Prevents production unplanned stops when correct pans and volume is available.
- Reports shortage of pans to effectively run the production.
- Must report any unsafe and/or damaged pans and equipment failure to immediate supervisor.
- Must follow associate and equipment safety policies and report safety incidents and accidents to a Production Group Leader, Team Leader, Manager and/or EH&S Manager right away.
- Must follow all company GMP’s, Food Safety, Food Quality, and associate rules and regulation as required.
- Must complete monthly Alchemy training.
- Must maintain the working area safe, clean, and organized at all times.
- Must follow all production work schedule, programs, processes, and work instructions specific to the Pan Handler position.
- Must comply with all necessary documentation, as required, and assigned for the position.
- Must maintain a professional attitude with plant associates, corporate associates, visitors, contractors, customers, and anyone doing business with the company.
- Must follow directions from the Production Group Leader, Team Leaders, Production Manager and Steering Team.
- Must support all Rich’s RPC programs such as MLO, TPM and QDMS and participate in meetings as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Demonstrate ability to understand and take directions.
- Must have a Safety-First work ethic.
- Must be able to work in a hot environment normal in a plant.
- Read, write, and speak English. Spanish speaking is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience in food manufacturing
- Able to use a manual pallet jack.
- Must be able to work weekends, overtime, and other shifts as needed.
- Communication Proficiency.
- Good physical health and ability to work in a high energy environment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The associate frequently is required to stand, walk; and bend, kneel, crouch or crawl. The associate is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The associate must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- This position works in a bakery setting, with proximity to the oven. This role requires some exposure to hot temperatures, and cool temperatures.
- This role routinely could use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and standard manufacturing equipment such v-pads and cleaning materials.
COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate
$19.50 - $19.50
