Purpose Statement
This position is responsible for reviewing, organizing, and maintaining warehouse documentation; scheduling and coordinating inbound and outbound appointments; and supporting warehouse operations by ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of administrative and inventory-related processes.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
1. Must follow associate and equipment safety policies and report safety incidents and accidents to a Warehouse Team Leader, Manager and EH&S Manager right away.
2. Must follow all company GMP’s, Food Safety, Food Quality, and associate rules and regulation as required.
3. Must follow all warehouse programs, processes and work instructions.
4. Must maintain a professional attitude with plant associates, corporate associates, drivers, visitors, contractors, customers and anyone doing business with the company.
5. Read customer orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be picked, gathered or distributed and/or shipped, and distribute the documents to the warehouse associates for picking of materials.
6. Ensure warehouse office and designated visitor areas remain organized, accessible, and safe for visitors and customer traffic.
7. Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed in SAP/RF programs.
8. Assist with physical inventory counts, cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and the preparation of inventory-related reports.
9. Wear the proper safety equipment.
10. Must follow directions from the Warehouse Team Leaders, Leads and Manager.
11. Assist with the planning, execution, and documentation of mock recall activities.
12. Review, organize, print and distribute daily delivery documents for the warehouse.
13. Create, update, and process Stock Transport Orders (STOs), Goods Issue transactions, and delivery documents in SAP.
14. Review outbound deliveries against available inventory and transportation capacity to ensure accuracy and prevent inventory discrepancies.
15. Maintain, review, and archive warehouse receiving, shipping, inspection, and inventory documentation in accordance with company policies and record retention requirements.
16. Maintain, organize, update, and retrieve associate training records as required.
17. Assist the Warehouse Manager with the development and maintenance of Excel reports, Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and other administrative reporting tools.
18. Distribute, follow up on, and respond to communications from Distribution, Transportation, Planning, and other corporate departments.
19. Assist in the collection of recyclable materials from office areas and work closely with the Recycling Champion to support program requirements.
20. Receive and respond to customer calls and emails regarding inbound and outbound appointments and schedule outbound pickup appointments.
21. Receive, inspect, and process parcel deliveries in Ariba/SAP, and assist with the distribution, tracking, and documentation of packages.
22. Maintain equipment logs and records for warehouse equipment as assigned.
23. Update warehouse communication boards and operational metrics daily (DLM).
24. Maintain accurate records and data within SAP and other company systems to support warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, customer service, and compliance requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
1. Demonstrates ability to follow instructions and work effectively with minimal supervision.
2. Good mathematical, technical, organizational, and time management skills.
3. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.
4. Minimum two (2) years of administrative experience.
5. High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience.
6. Inventory control experience preferred.
7. Must be able to work weekends and other shifts as needed
8. Experience in using RF scanners, SAP, or similar warehouse management systems preferred.
9. Minimum two (2) years of experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and PDF applications.
10. Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience
11. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
12. Knowledge of Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM) concepts preferred.
13. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
14. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The associate frequently is required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The associate must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 pounds.
15. This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. Exposure to refrigerated and freezer temperatures ranging from -10º F to 45 º F may occur. The role routinely uses hand-held scanners, computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and standard warehouse equipment.
COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
