Purpose Statement

The Production Associate will be responsible for operating and adjusting various mixing equipment to blend, process, and produce high-quality materials. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working with industrial mixers and possess a strong attention to detail to ensure consistent product quality. The Production Associate will be responsible for operating and controlling mixing equipment according to production specifications and instructions. You will also prepare raw materials for mixing, including weighing and measuring ingredients.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

  • Produce a wholesome product, that is free from any possible contamination, in compliance with Rich's Quality standards and Specifications.
  • Ensures that all required documentation for Poduction records is completed according to Rich's policies.
  • Assures that all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) take place, before, and during the process.
  • Makes safety a priority, while carrying out his/her daily activities.
  • Operate and control mixing equipment according to production standards.
  • Maintain and monitor the quality and consistency of mixes throughout the production process.
  • Works very close and have effective communication with the Grinder Mixer Operator.
  • Set up and calibrate mixing machines, ensuring accurate measurements and desired results.
  • Prepare raw materials for mixing, including weighing and measuring ingredients.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions or operational issues to minimize downtime.
  • Keep records of batch details, production data, and any deviations from the standard process.
  • Assist in the training and development of new Spice Room Mixer Associates.
  • Able to use SAP.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must possess basic math and computer skills, as well as good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Responsible for knowing and adhering to Good Manufacturing Standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Able to work around various types of spices and other ingredients as part of the daily activities.
  • Frequently required standing, reaching, bending, kneeling and moving about the facility.
  • Able to work in both a hot and cold environment.
  • Works in high noise areas and use mandatory hearing protection.
  • Works with potentially hazardous chemicals and/or equipment.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
